Youth Madness Week

This is always an exciting time of the year in the life of a church.  Youth are just getting back from the summer mission trip and kids of all ages are coming back from spending a week at Camp Yolijwa.  They are all excited about what God is doing, and their faith is growing in leaps and bounds.  The youth are anxious to continue serving and want to be a part of what God is doing in their church, in their communities, and in the world.

It is so important that the church continues to encourage our youth and disciple them as they seek to understand what it means to follow Jesus.  As a way to keep them excited, we have started an annual event called “Youth Madness.”  During the week of August 15th-20th, we have packed in various service projects and activities for the youth to do together.  We are looking for additional adult chaperones and volunteers to help throughout the week

Below is a rough schedule.. If you are available to serve in any way, please contact me or Mike Coleman.

Monday: Local Community Day

Meet at the church at 10:00 am.  We will do various service projects around our community.  (Bring a bagged lunch.)  We plan to clean up roads and parks that day.  Also, if you have a project around the house that the youth can help with, please let us know.
