Pastor Milton S. Brown, Jr. Biography

Pastor Milton S. Brown, Jr. was born and raised in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He was educated in the Harrisburg area school system and graduated from William Penn High School in 1964.
He received an Associate degree in Sociology from Penn State University. He also completed the Ministry Training Institute courses of study, from the Church of God. From there he went on to receive his Bachelor of Ministry degree from Grace Bible Institute and School of Theology.
In 1995 he received his Preaching License from the Churches of God. Pastor Brown then planted the Solid Rock Church of God and served as senior pastor from 1995 through 1999. He was ordained in 1998. God called him to the Plainfield Church of God as senior pastor from 2000 through 2007. From there he was called to Yocumtown Church of God where he continues to serve as senior pastor. On June 17, 2011, Pastor Brown received his Master's degree in Christian Counseling and is currently pursuing his Doctorate degree.
He is also a sought after Evangelistic Preacher and Teacher. Pastor Brown has served on the Churches of God Vocations Commission, the Evangelistic and the Outreach Commission. He now serves as a Trustee for the Winebrenner Seminary, Churches of God General Conference, Findlay, Ohio.
Pastor Brown and his wife, Rebecca are blessed with 6 children and 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
