Share the Message “God is Love”

For the past several weeks, we have been reading together through the book of Titus. Reading the Word of God is supposed to change us. I pray this study has been a meaningful journey for you in your walk with Christ. I pray that reading Titus has helped you make changes in your life that make you look more Christ-like, and that the knowledge of the depth of His love for you has given you a desire to be the person He created you to be.

“For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say ‘No’ to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly┬álives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope — the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for Himself a people that are His very own, eager to do what is good.” (Titus 2:11-14, NIV)

Praise God that He loves us and wants to be in a relationship with us. What a wonderful journey we can be on with Him.

Fall Friend Day is one way you can help start the process of redemption and restoration in someone else’s life. All it takes is an invitation.

If there are people in your life that don’t know the Lord, or don’t have a church (and I am sure there are), invite them to join you for Fall Friend Day on October 4th. The message that day will be “God is Love.” This message is for everyone!

People in the world are hurting and lonely and need to know they have a God who loves them, a Savior who died for them, and a church that will accept them. Who are you planning to share the love of God with that day?

On October 25th, we will be receiving new members into our church family and having a service of baptism. How wonderful to be a part of this decision in someone’s life! After the service, join us in celebrating their new life in Christ. We will have a reception with refreshments in the Faith Life Center after the service.
